The Long Island Ducks and Wichita Wolverines provided some drama at Long Island Stadium.

Wichita designated hitter Alan Lehman made his presence felt in the 7-6 Wolverines triumph over the Long Island Ducks. Lehman went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Pedro Galló finished to wrap up his 38th save.

Lehman contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Wichita get the win.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Long Island manager Roger Fievet.

Long Island's current losing streak is now 5 games.
