Beetlecats Saddle Hackers with 4-2 Loss
|
San Jose Municipal Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Silicon Valley Hackers and Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats.
Jim Unknown pitched well, but his team, the Silicon Valley Hackers, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Yuko Kinoshita got the save, the 6th for him this season.
Ángel Aquino played a key role in the win for the Beetlecats. The catcher punched a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning. For the game, Aquino was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Buzzard's Bay skipper Keith Irwin.
Buzzard's Bay is 5th in the Cory Lidle League Gene Mauch Division with a record of 64-80.
