Hawaii and Jacksonville met at Skellington Stadium in front of a lively crowd.
Hawaii got an elite performance from starting pitcher Ehrich Weiss in taking a 4-1 decision over the Jacksonville Jacks. Winston Boer earned the save for Hawaii, his 2nd of the year.
In the top of the seventh inning, Jim Burry went deep for the Islanders. With Hawaii leading 1-0, he drilled a 3-run home run.
"We missed opportunities once again," said losing manager Daniel Dumas.
The Islanders raised their record to 4-2.
