Cornhuskers Come Up Short at Marysville
The Marysville Monarchs and DeKalb Cornhuskers obliged those fans who came to Mitts Fieldhouse looking for a good time.

The Marysville Monarchs did just enough to sneak past the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 5-4, at Mitts Fieldhouse. Marysville catcher Ramón Medina earned player of the game honors. Marysville now owns a record of 77-66.

Cristián Rojas helped the Marysville cause with one out in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Marysville trailing 3-1, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Marysville manager Jorge Magana.
