Bulldogs Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Spokane Bulldogs downed the Riverside Red Bulls, 7-4, in 10 innings. Robbie Quiroz led the way, going 3-for-3 for Spokane. The win was Rick Kay's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Lien-ying Mar took the loss for Riverside. T.J. Balaski was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 10 save opportunities.

The most important at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With one out, Lien-ying Mar threw a 2-1 slider to Quiroz, which he hit to left for a run-scoring double. It put Spokane in front, 5-4.

In postgame remarks, Quiroz simply said: "Here's to a great win!"

The Bulldogs now have a record of 72-70 with the win over Riverside.
