The Rock River Rats defeated the Pacifica Shamrocks, 7-2, at The Rat Hole. Rock River left fielder Lee Brooks was named player of the game for his superb performance. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Rats own a robust 92-48 mark.

The Rats got a big at-bat from designated hitter Nick Dye. For the game, Dye went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 16th double of the season gave Rock River a 4-2 lead.

"Lee is still learning," said Rats manager Hervé Barthélémy. "The sky's the limit for him."
