|
Rock River Rats starter Douglas Pantall pitched a strong game against the Pacifica Shamrocks at The Rat Hole, leading the Rats to a 3-2 win. The winning pitcher was Pantall, now 10-8. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5. Kevin Crosby earned the save for Rock River, his 28th of the year.
Nobuatsu Nakashima came through for Rock River in the bottom of the first. With two out, Nakashima victimized Jesús Díaz with a 2-run home run. It was his 37th home run of the season and put Rock River on top, 2-0.
"We put together a nice win," Nakashima said.
The Rats own a robust 91-48 mark.
