Mustangs Walk Off with 5-4 Win
The Mustangs had to overcome a fine performance from Portland pitcher Rolf Pals to grab a 5-4 win at McNichols Stadium. Pals allowed 4 earned runs over 8.1 innings. Mile High reliever Andrew Johnson picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-2. Juan Quezada was collared with the loss. The Mustangs now have a record of 22-24 with the win over Portland.

The Mustangs got an important contribution from second baseman Tsunayoshi Tanaka, who in the bottom of the 11th knocked a 2-2 fastball into left for a run-scoring double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Mustangs ahead, 5-4.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Joe Ward, the Mile High manager.
