Ninjas Walk It Off for 66th Win of Season
The Confucius Field faithful were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

Lourenço Russa was superb against San Antonio. The right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the FFL with a 9.3 K/9 rate, had a splitter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 5-3 Ninjas victory. The win was credited to Juan López in relief. His record improves to 5-5. John Welch took the loss.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With New York trailing 3-2, Milt Mezzanotte hit a fastball from John Welch to left for a 3-run home run. Just like that, the Ninjas had a walk-off win.

"This place sure got loud," said Casey Ramey, the New York manager.

With the win, New York has a record of 66-71. San Antonio falls to 58-77.
