|
Phoenix Lights starter Jeremy Shaw turned in a sterling performance against the Boise Hawks, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Phoenix is 76-64 and Boise, with the loss, 72-65.
Shaw, the Phoenix right-hander, went 7 innings, allowing no earned runs on 2 hits. He collected 8 strikeouts.
"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Michael Barnett.
