Thrilling Victory Pushes Hawks Win Streak to 8
The Boise Hawks did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Phoenix Lights at Basque Block Field. Nobody did more than third baseman Luke Riviere, who captured player of the game honors. The Hawks, at 72-64, have now won 8 straight.

Anastasio Pineda was a prime factor in the win for the Hawks. In the bottom of the ninth with one out, the 24-year old center fielder hit a walk-off run-scoring single. He went 1-1.

"The clubhouse vibe is great," said Boise manager Arinori Nakamura.
