Buzzard's Bay Beats Frisco, 5-4
|
Starting pitcher Jason Beaton pitched well enough to help the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats beat the Frisco Rams by the score of 5-4. The win was credited to Bernardino Pacheco in relief. His record improves to 3-6. Everton Mailes took the loss. Yuko Kinoshita got the save, the 2nd for him this season.
This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the ninth, Ángel Aquino hit a run-scoring single. The Beetlecats took the lead, 5-4.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Frisco manager Rafael Castillo.
The Beetlecats now have a mark of 60-75.
