Youngstown Hot Streak Continues with 6-4 Win
Pacifica got a terrific game from first baseman Josh Bowmer. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Youngstown, 6-4. Bowmer was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Rafael López, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save. The wins continue to add up for Youngstown, with the latest making it 9 in a row.

In the top of the 7th, shortstop Nick Wedemeyer gave Youngstown the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Tune-Ups had been trailing 1-0, but the two-out single off Pacifica pitcher Danny Posada changed that -- and Youngstown went on to win.

"We feel like we're going to win every game right now," said Youngstown skipper Jacob Gaines.
