Long Island Topples San Antonio, 2-0

The Long Island Ducks and San Antonio Storm Troopers put on a pitchers' duel at The Clone Army.
The Long Island Ducks got a magnificent performance from pitcher Stuart Organ, who muffled the San Antonio offense en route to a tight 2-0 Ducks win at The Clone Army. Organ, now 10-8, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 4, and allowing no earned runs.
The Storm Troopers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Ducks going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old right fielder Masato Takagi came to the plate. Takagi hit a run-scoring double on a 1-2 changeup from San Antonio hurler Nobuhiko Miyashita. It was Takagi's 5th double of the year.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Organ.
Long Island is now 60-76, while San Antonio is 56-75.
