Steveson Leads Carson City to Win
Carson City starter Mike Steveson pitched effectively against the Rock River Rats at The Rat Hole. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Miguel Gonzáles got credit for the save for Carson City. It was his 12th of the year. The Mustang, at 85-50, have a comfortable 17˝-game lead in their division.

Steveson was effective against the Rats, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Rock River to just no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Steveson said.
