Mouland Goes Off, But Rams Win
Phil Mouland did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Newark Jail Birds from losing, 15-8, to the Frisco Rams at Cobras Ballpark. Mouland went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. After today's action, Frisco sits at 70-65, while Newark falls to 66-67.

Iván Romo had a nice at-bat for the Rams with one out in the top of the seventh. With the bases loaded, the designated hitter hit a run-scoring single, which would prove important in the Frisco win.
