Multi-HR Day for Andrade as Wolverines Overpower Ninjas, 10-6

A nice crowd turned out to see the Wichita Wolverines and New York Ninjas clash at Confucius Field.
The Wichita Wolverines beat the New York Ninjas, 10-6, at Confucius Field. The Wolverines got a fine performance from left fielder Ernesto Andrade, who captured player of the game honors. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The Wolverines now have a record of 68-67.
In the top of the first, Andrade had one of his most important at-bats: a 3-run home run off Lourenço Russa that staked the Wolverines to a 3-0 lead.
"There's a lot of fight left in this team," said Andrade.
