In a tight contest at Parliament Field, the Youngstown Tune-Ups edged the Atlantic City Enforcers by the score of 7-6. Youngstown third baseman Mario Cruz, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. Youngstown reliever Sachi Kakuta got the win, raising his record to 9-5. Shane Westmacott was tagged with the loss. Rafael López earned his 5th save in 5 chances.

Youngstown designated hitter Tatsuzo Tanaka said he wanted to hit the ball hard when he batted in the top of the eighth. He not only hit it hard, he hit a fastball from Shane Westmacott deep for a 2-run home run. It resulted in a 7-6 lead for Youngstown.

"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Jacob Gaines.

The wins continue to add up for Youngstown, with the latest making it 7 in a row.
