Predators Lick Bulldogs, 12-1
|
The Topeka Predators buried the Spokane Bulldogs, 12-1, under a barrage of hits. Dave Watson led the onslaught, going 3-for-3 for Topeka. Topeka is now 64-70, Spokane 69-64.
Roberto Guzmán contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped Topeka get the win.
"They took us to the woodshed," said Spokane manager Chris Carpenter.
