Victory Pushes Shamrocks Record to 82-50
|
The umbrellas came out during the Pacifica-Jacksonville contest at Hellcats Park.
The Pacifica Shamrocks beat the Jacksonville Hellcats, 6-3, at Hellcats Park. Pacifica designated hitter Dan Thibodeau earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The save went to Jamie Newitt, his 17th this season.
Late-game drama came in the top of the eighth inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, Dan Thibodeau, hit a solo home run. It helped Pacifica seize the win.
"Winning is not something we take for granted," Thibodeau said.
Pacifica goes to 82-50. The win puts them 10˝ games up in their division.
