The Phoenix Lights beat the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 6-5 at UFO Field, in part due to second baseman Fred Nagy, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. With the win, the Lights have a record of 72-62.

Nagy had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Lights went on to win.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Phoenix manager Michael Barnett.
