Bloomfield Road was the site of a competitive game between the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats and Spokane Bulldogs.
The Spokane Bulldogs defeated the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 5-3, at Bloomfield Road. Spokane center fielder Luis Reyes was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Cris Ayala earned the win to go to 10-5. He allowed 3 earned runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 7 strikeouts. T.J. Balaski got credit for the save for Spokane. It was his 7th of the year.
Spokane first baseman Kendrick MacAulay contributed to the cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fourth. For the game, MacAulay was 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
