Hawks Drop Predators with Late Score
The Boise Hawks picked up a win at Basque Block Field, knocking off the Topeka Predators, 4-3. Starting pitcher Domingo Trinidad, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Boise is now 65-64, while Topeka is 63-68.

A critical at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning when the Hawks sent 22-year-old second baseman Claudio Padilla to the plate with the bases loaded. The youngster shook off the pressure and drew a walk, driving in 1 run, to put Boise on top, 4-3.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Trinidad said.
