Loss Extends Long Island Losing Streak
Atlantic City withstood an impressive performance by Long Island third baseman Martin Poliskin to defeat the Ducks, 5-4, at Parliament Field. Poliskin was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The win was credited to Gustavo Asconcio in relief. His record improves to 6-0. Bob Fleury took the loss. Máximo Larreta closed it out for his 2nd save.

In the bottom of the sixth, with Atlantic City trailing 3-1, Theodore Brennan hit a fastball from Bob Fleury for a run-scoring double, giving the Enforcers the lead, 3-2.

"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Roger Fievet. "But it's got to translate into wins."

The losing skid has reached 7 games for Long Island.
