Storm Troopers Rally For Late Win Over Lights
|
San Antonio starter Dave Munier had a strong outing against the Phoenix Lights at UFO Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Their 55-71 record puts the Storm Troopers 5th in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division.
One significant at-bat for San Antonio came with the bases empty in the top of the ninth. Storm Troopers shortstop John Carruthers got hit by a pitch, which helped San Antonio go on to win.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Munier said.
