Rams Squelch Wolverines Offense in Shutout Win
The Frisco Rams got a magnificent performance from pitcher Yasuhiko Ito, who muffled the Wichita offense en route to a tight 3-0 Rams win at Howling Park. In 6 innings, Ito surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. He allowed no runs. Their 66-62 record puts the Rams third in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League.

One significant at-bat for Frisco came with a runner on 3rd in the top of the eighth. Rams right fielder Pedro Mercado hit a run-scoring single, which helped Frisco go on to win.
