Predators Knock Off Tune-Ups, 7-3
|
Despite a great performance by Youngstown left fielder Rick McKinney, the Topeka Predators defeated the Tune-Ups by the score of 7-3 at The Field at Richmond. McKinney went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. Topeka currently is in third place in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division at 63-65.
Roberto Guzmán chipped in for Topeka, stroking a crucial run-scoring triple in the bottom of the third inning. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 2 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 times.
"I really like what we did out there today," Guzmán said after the game.
