Madison withstood an impressive performance by Carson City right fielder Kyung-jin Yun to defeat the Mustang, 6-3, at The Hive. Yun was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. Jerry Kennedy, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save. The Beehive now have a record of 43-83 with the win over Carson City.
Joe Main, who is tied for 10th in the FFL with a .316 batting average, helped out the Madison cause in the bottom of the second inning with a bases-clearing double. For the game, the right fielder went 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 4 RBI.
