Late Rally Gets Win for Predators
The Topeka Predators had to overcome a big game from Madison left fielder Bartley Alroy to leave The Field at Richmond with a 9-6 victory. Alroy was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win was credited to Oscar Ruiz in relief. His record improves to 4-2. John Haines took the loss. Topeka is now 61-63, Madison 42-81.

Topeka left fielder Hoo-gwo Qing had a game-changing at-bat in the bottom of the ninth. On a fastball from John Haines, he launched a 3-run home run. It gave Topeka a 9-6 lead.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Qing told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
