Bloomington Blazers starter Oliver Romero was in fine form against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Field de Los Layendas, leading his team to a 5-3 win. Coco Yamashita, credited with the win, is now 4-3. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. Bloomington, at 23-22, sits in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.

Camden Mansel changed the game with one swing of the bat. With two out in the top of the 12th, the Bloomington designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run off Ramón Gonzáles. It was his 9th home run of the season. With it, Bloomington took the lead, 5-3.
