Bulldogs Deal Ducks 4-1 Setback
The Spokane Bulldogs went home winners at Long Island Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Eric Buffy. Buffy silenced the Long Island Ducks, enabling Spokane to grab the 4-1 win. T.J. Balaski got credit for the save for Spokane. It was his 4th of the year. The Bulldogs bumped their record to 62-60 with this latest triumph.

Ichinomiya, Japan-born Itsuka Arakaki came through in the clutch. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd and the Bulldogs trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double to right to put Spokane on top.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Buffy told the Spokane Times.
