Wichita Wolverines starter Robinson Merrado was in fine form against the San Antonio Storm Troopers at The Clone Army, leading his team to a 4-3 win. The winning pitcher was Merrado, now 6-3. He tossed 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 6 and fanning 6. Getting the save was Pedro Galló, his 32nd.
Alan Lehman contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that propelled Wichita to the win.
"We found a way to get it done," Lehman said.
Wichita is now 62-61.
