Hackers Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Silicon Valley Hackers took Jacksonville pitcher Enrique Galván's best shot and still were able to claim a win at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The final score had Silicon Valley getting past the Hellcats, 5-4. Galván went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs, striking out 6. The win was Ryozo Kuramoto's in relief. His record improves to 7-4. José Arredondo took the loss for Jacksonville. Silicon Valley now has a 3-game win streak.

Lance Vallery was involved in some late-game drama. With one out in the bottom of the tenth, Vallery hit a run-scoring single. It helped Silicon Valley snatch the win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Vallery.
