In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Long Island pitcher Bob Fleury gave the Spartans all they could handle, but in the end, Sandy Springs left Long Island Stadium with a 7-1 win. Fleury allowed 3 earned runs on 3 hits over 5.1 innings. Sandy Springs reliever Drew Coffin was the winner. His record is now 7-4. Bob Fleury took the loss.
