Price Silences Jacksonville Bats
|
The Brooklyn Black Knights got a magnificent performance from pitcher Fred Price, who muffled the Jacksonville offense en route to a tight 2-0 Black Knights win at Skellington Stadium. Picking up the save was Ti-an Dan, his 13th. The 5th-place Jacks have dropped 4 straight games.
Price gave Brooklyn a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7.2 innings.
"We did just enough to win," Price said.
