The Long Island Ducks and DeKalb Cornhuskers played an exciting game at The Corn Crib.

The Long Island Ducks topped the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 4-2, in Bob Moose League action at The Corn Crib. The player of the game was Long Island third baseman Martin Poliskin. Long Island reliever Kenji Ito picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Victor Hernandez was saddled with the loss. Miguel Hernández closed the door for Long Island, picking up his 19th save of the year.

Poliskin turned the game around in the top of the eighth. Facing Victor Hernandez, the Long Island third baseman rapped a 3-run home run. Suddenly, the 2-1 Long Island deficit turned into a 4-2 lead.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said DeKalb skipper Eduardo Varerla, "and it cost us."

Long Island is now riding a 3-game win streak.
