Rams Jolt Red Bulls with Late Rally

The Riverside Red Bulls wasted an impressive 5.1-inning effort from starter Ricky Bolden Jr., falling 2-1 to the Frisco Rams at Red Bull Stadium. Frisco reliever Everton Mailes picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-1. Maite Tadeo was collared with the loss. Getting the save was Shih-k'ai Mi, his 10th.
Stanton Miller's at-bat with one out in the top of the eighth was critical. The Frisco first baseman hit a run-scoring double, to put his team on top, 2-1. Runs were at a premium and this one was huge.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Miller. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
Frisco is now 61-59, Riverside 70-47.
