Tamura Powers Snaps to 11-9 Win
Jun'ichi Tamura was the difference-maker for the Cincinnati Snaps in what turned into a shootout with the Wichita Wolverines. Tamura earned the player of the game award after going 3-for-4 in the 11-9 Snaps win. Scott Ray, credited with the save, is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities. The Snaps' win now puts them at 54-63.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Cincinnati left fielder Jun'ichi Tamura. In the top of the ninth inning, with two out and the bases loaded, Tamura drew a walk, driving in 1 run to help Cincinnati seize the win.

"Ugly win or not, we'll take it," said Tamura.
