The bats were silent much of the day at Red Bull Stadium. But Stanton Miller conjured up just enough offense to carry the Rams past the Riverside Red Bulls, 3-0. Miller went 2 for 4 with a home run. The third-place Rams are now 60-59, the Red Bulls 70-46.

In the top of the seventh inning, second baseman Steve Yarrigle delivered a key hit for the Rams. With Frisco leading 1-0, he ripped a solo home run.

In comments to the Frisco Daily News, Yarrigle admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
