Rats Squelch Ninjas Offense in Shutout Win
In a tight game between the Rock River Rats and the New York Ninjas, pitcher Tom Wilson was terrific on the mound. The Rock River right-hander was named the player of the game in Rock River's 3-0 win. Rock River is now 75-39, 12 games up in the Bob Moose League Bruce Bochy Division.

Parking one for Rock River was Carlos Cordero. The designated hitter had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second for the Rats. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Cordero went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Wilson said.
