Topeka had no answer for Carson City Mustang hurler Kaong Foong, who overwhelmed Predators hitters as the Mustang coasted to a 7-0 victory. Júlio Herrera sewed up the save, his 2nd. Carson City, now 70-45, holds first place in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division.

Foong, who leaned on his slider, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 6 innings for the Mustang. For the most part, Topeka hitters were simply overmatched.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Noriyori Shirai.
