Topeka beat Cincinnati at The Studio, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Jorge Arellano, who earned player of the game honors. Earning his 6th save of the year was Oscar Ruiz. Topeka, at 59-54, occupies second place in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division.

Frank Nemchik had a productive trip to the plate with two out in the top of the seventh inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double, helping Topeka to the win.

Nemchik attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
