The Boise Hawks blasted the Marysville Monarchs, 14-4. Silas Lyons was one of the hitting stars. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 6 for Boise. Boise currently is in third place in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League at 56-54.

A defensive miscue in the bottom of the sixth cost the Monarchs. With Boise leading 5-4, Jesús Castillo reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run. Boise ended up winning the ballgame.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Lyons.
