DeKalb shortstop Thomaz Quint was instrumental in his team's 8-6 win over the Cincinnati Snaps. Quint went 2-3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cornhuskers. The winner was DeKalb reliever Kazushige Kichida, now 1-2. The loser was Alex Alvarez. Earning his 7th save for DeKalb was Tai Quian.

Hastings, Minnesota-born Jason Colaianni came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded and the Cornhuskers trailing 5-3, he hit a bases-clearing double to left to put DeKalb on top.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Colaianni.

DeKalb is second in the Bob Moose League Bruce Bochy Division with a record of 57-51.
