Jail Birds Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Tune-Ups
The Newark Jail Birds picked up a win at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum, knocking off the Youngstown Tune-Ups, 7-4. Starting pitcher Andy Schuman played a key role in the triumph. John Freemann locked down his 21st save. The Jail Birds now have a mark of 53-53.

The Jail Birds beat the Tune-Ups with some clutch hitting. The single by Jesús García in the top of the second is a good example. With two down, García gave his team the lead, 2-1, when he came through with the big hit.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Schuman.
