Cornhuskers Suffer 5-2 Loss to Snaps
The Cincinnati Snaps got a stellar performance from pitcher Lenny Tremlett, who handcuffed the DeKalb offense en route to a 5-2 win at The Corn Crib. Tremlett, the winner, moves to 3-7. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. Cincinnati is now 50-57, DeKalb 55-51.

The Snaps got a lift from catcher Bill Kremer who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning off Victor Hernandez. It was his 56th RBI of the season and put Cincinnati in front, 3-2.

"It was a good effort all around," said Kremer.
