The Pacifica Shamrocks coasted to a win over the Silicon Valley Hackers, 10-2. Ta-heng Wang had a good day at the plate for Pacifica. He was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Subaru Suzuki was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save. Pacifica has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
The Shamrocks used some clutch hitting to beat the Hackers, a good example being the at-bat of Yasusaburo Sato in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, Sato gave his team the lead, 3-1, when he hit a 2-run single.
"The vibe's good," said Pacifica manager Joe Leftwich. "We've got to keep it going."
