Pitcher Deug-yeom Park was sensational for the Phoenix Lights in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Youngstown Tune-Ups. Park received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Phoenix now owns a record of 56-50.
Roger Pynn went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Phoenix. The 22-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Luis Vásquez. It was his 40th RBI of the season.
"Enjoyed this one," Park told the Phoenix Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
