Lourenço Russa pitched well, but his team, the New York Ninjas, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the Cincinnati Snaps at The Studio. At 48-56, Cincinnati is in 4th place in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division.

Cincinnati took a 3-2 lead on Bill Kremer's 93rd hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Kremer hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New York pitcher Paolo Jens visibly frustrated.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Cincinnati skipper António Álvarez.
