The Cincinnati Snaps defeated the Newark Jail Birds, 8-3, in Bob Moose League action at The Studio, with Cincinnati pitcher Jesús Gallegos named player of the game. The win puts the Snaps at 46-54, while the Jail Birds drop to 49-50.

Cincinnati left fielder Alex Carlos helped the Snaps to the win. In the bottom of the first inning, the 20-year old left fielder stroked a run-scoring double. For the game, Carlos was 2-4 with a double.

"Good to pick up this win," Carlos said.
